How to Upgrade the Firmware of your D-Link Router

This blog talks about upgrading the firmware of your router to the latest version. This process should be done with a wired connection only and not on a wireless connection. Follow the below mentioned steps in order to see the desired results:
- First, on a computer browser, go to the official site of dlink and download the latest version of the firmware.
- Save the downloaded file and unzip the ZIP package and then type in the address 192.168.0.1 on a browser.
- On the next login page, type in the username and password. By default the username is admin and the password is also admin.
- Press the tools tab present on the top of the page and then select the firmware the option from the left side pane.
- In the upgrade window, browse through the files and select the downloaded file.
- Finally, click the upload option and to start the upgrading process and continue till the end and after this you are done with your changes.
